Welcome to my blog.
I began writing “Farewell My Manicure” after moving to acreage and discovering my love of urban gardening. Currently writing freelance for several publications, including Grass Roots Magazine, along with my regular spot on local radio, my passion is in being able to share simple tips for suburban sustainability.
“Eats, Roots and Leaves“, whilst a bit cheeky in its title (and originates from a joke about an Aussie wombat), aims to show everyone how to eat, to plant, to grow, to eat some more and above all, not to take gardening too seriously.
You will learn how to grow your urban garden from kitchen scraps, how to fertilise it from kitchen scraps and how to repel pests from, you got it……..kitchen scraps!
Enjoy the book with my compliments.
